ENVIRONMENTAL LAW

Environmental law is a core practice area of KRUHL · VON STRENGE. We look back on many years of experience in this area, advising public entities as well as companies from the private sector. In particular, our partners frequently advise companies in connection with the remediation of pre-existing contamination, contracts regulating innovative in situ cleanup procedures (ISCO, biological remediation), and the judicial enforcement of claims under the Federal Soil Protection Act (BBodSchG).

In addition, we have extensive experience with the laws and regulations on emissions, waste disposal, packaging, water, environmental protection, mining and forestry. We advise clients on these issues in corporate and real estate transactions, complex approval proceedings, as well as in solitary legal issues. In addition to providing sound legal advice, we also offer expertise in effective project management.

Another core practice area of KRUHL · VON STRENGE is advising clients on regulations governing chemicals and hazardous materials, in particular in connection with the REACH regulation. We offer in-depth know-how and expertise advising clients in this area, for example in connection with consortium agreements and the (pre)registration of substances.
